What size breast implants should I choose?

The size of you breast implants will ultimately be decided by your desired breast size. I use several methods to help you best assess the size you want. I found the best way is to place breast implants sizers on your chest and see how they look and feel in a sports bra. Visualizing them in a sports bra is extremely helpful.

I also utilize a Canfield morphing system to help better assessing the size. Various implant sizes from all the manufactures can be placed see the final size.

Breast size is a personal decision and there is no right or wrong. I try to match your goal based on your body. Your ultimate size is determined by existing breast volume, chest projection, body shape, and the size of the breast implants. Most people have a wide range of possibilities and I will work hard to find you the perfect fit.

Do I need a breast lift with my breast augmentation?

The main purpose of a breast lift in breast augmentation is to raise the position of you nipple areola complex in relation to your new breast mound. The ideal position nipple areola complex is well defined but the actual position can be more forgiving and still produce a natural and beautiful breasts. Breast lifts require additional scars and the type of scars needed are based on how the nipple areola complex needs to be raised. There are other factors such as the condition of the skin and existing breast volume that will determine whether a breast lift will help to improve your breast shape.

My goal is to give you the prettiest breast that is possible with the minimum amount of scars. Don’t be afraid to have scars if that gives you the beast results because scars will fade and the breast shape and size are the most important factor. I will help you get the best shape for your desired size.

What is the difference between a mini-tummy tuck and a full tummy tuck?

In a mini-tummy tuck, less skin is removed and the belly button is usually detached from the abdominal wall and lowered. The incision is usually less generally within the hip bones. The best candidates are patients who have a high belly button and more lax skin below the belly button. Otherwise, liposuction and muscle tightening is done as necessary. Recovery is about the same as a full tummy tuck.

When am I ready for a face lift?

Today, I can offer three import procedures to improve your aging face. First is to help you improve the quality of skin. This is primary accomplished by daily skin care regimen that will be individualized to help you get the optimal results. Skin care is usually supplemented with facials, micro needling, and laser treatments. Neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport can help you control unwanted wrinkles.

Volume loss is a large component in facial aging. This is primarily addressed with dermal fillers to help you restore and enhance shape of your face and lips. Replacing loss volume can help you lift facial skin and soften unwanted folds and give you a more youthful appearance. The most important area to address is the loss of volume in the cheek area. Restoring the cheek area gives you the maximum lift and softens the folds and tear trough areas. Lips volume enhancement with fillers can give you more fullness and unfold wrinkles around your lips. Temporal hollowness can be addressed with fillers as well and will lift the lateral brow.

Facelifts are best used to treat the neck or when your facial volume is adequate but the skin is loose and saggy. Volume replacement will have minimal effect for the treatment of the neck. Facelifts are a surgical procedure but the results are dramatic but natural and are an important part of the treatment of the aging face.

I will help you make the best treatment plan to obtain the best natural results and restore a youthful and sassy look.

For patients with good quality skin, the best treatment is ThermiTight™ with liposuction. ThermiTight™ is a temperature controlled radiofrequency device that helps to melt fat and tighten skin. What are my options for larger buttocks?

Fat grafting is a great way to improve the shape of your buttock and I will help you get the best results.

What is labiaplasty?

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to improve the external appearance of the vaginal area. Most women who are interested in labiaplasty complain of unsightliness of their labia and discomfort during physical activity. Some also complain of discomfort in clothing. The procedure usually reduces the labia minora (inner lips) and elevates the clitoral hood. Other procedures such as labia majora reduction or labia majora fat grating can also be performed. The procedure is done under local anesthesia and most can return to work in a few days.

I have developed my own technique and have published my work in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
